We are on the behalf of our client looking for a Project Manager.

The Ideal candidate would have an appreciation of Earned Value Management, have worked within a Project Control organisation alongside Planning and Project Management. Project Manager (Sub-Project Lead) this role is required to support with a Cost Management bias.

Key roles and responsibilities of the Project Cost Controller is to support Project Management to maintain project costs, work breakdown structure, control account structure and associated techniques to appropriately monitor, control and report on delivery of the project to schedule and cost.

The Project Cost Controller will independently manage, interrogate, and maintain costs on designated work scopes with the ability to positively change and constantly strive for improvements. The Project Cost Controller will report functionally to the Project Control Manager centrally but will be deployed / matrixed within a Sub-Project leading all Cost Management tasks..

Key Roles
Integrated Cost Management support to Project ManagementCost Engineer will be an integral part of project teams and work closely with other project controls disciplines to provide aneffective and value-added serviceOwnership of the Control Estimate and budget management within Sub ProjectCollation of ACWP – Man Hours, Sub-Contracts, Plant & MaterialsPrepare accruals and journals for areas of work – Commitment tracking / VOWD assessmentsOrganise and lead monthly EAC reviews for all designated Sub-ProjectSupport monthly earned value reports, variance analysis within Project DashboardsProduction of bottom up ETC forecasts MonthlyManagement of the Sub-Project Control Accounts and CBSInterface with Planner for the Sub-Project to ensure EAC/Schedule alignment.Develop and maintain a fully robust EAC for all elements of Sub ProjectSupport Estimation of CCB proposals – Manage all Scope Changes and ensure they are included in ETC and appropriately forecast and aligned to scheduleOverview of monthly reporting cycle and adherence to quality management processes for EAC validation and schedule alignment.Staffing plan reporting and forecasting for the Sub Project – Connection ControlComplete Earned Value Analysis, identify critical areas, trends and recommend recovery options, and contribute to clear and concise reportingMaintain cost control databases for areas of work, and ensure validation and integrity of data

Required Experience / Skills
Experience within major EPCC Projects – Relevant experience in Project Controls and Project Delivery and ability to share best practice.High level understanding of Earned Value Management and associated analysisBudget management, distribution, cost collection and forecasting experienceDetailed working proficiency using ExcelExperience of working with P6 DataExperience in liaising with Finance Department and ERP / Accounting SystemsStrong stakeholder engagement skills and communication skillsMember of APM / ACostE

Start: 2022 July 1st.
Duration: 6+ months.
Workload: 100%
Location: Lund.
Remote: 50%.
