Our aim in Occlutech People & Culture is to build a solid foundation of globally aligned HR processes, policies, and systems to serve a growing business, moving from local operations to global governance while preparing for an IPO. December 31, 2022, we supported 314 employees, contractors, and students across 11 legal entities and 15 countries. Our local P&C Teams provide all people data relevant to compensation and benefits and collaborate with our external partners BDO and Justworks for payroll. In February we roll out SuccessFactors, our new global HRIS.

Why does Occlutech need a Global Rewards Manager.

– Occlutech is globalizing structures, processes and systems also for compensation (fixed and variable pay) and benefits
– For IPO readiness and future growth, we need salary bands that can be explained, followed, and benchmarked both internally and vs. market
– We need expertise to help align, build, and implement a new mindset and process for rewards, compensation and benefits

Main responsibilities:
Defining a fair, equitable and competitive total rewards, compensation and benefits package (medical insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plans.)
Developing a consistent rewards and compensation philosophy. Ensures programs are equitable, meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective.

To be successful as a Global Rewards Manager, you should be able to develop competitive and cost-efficient programs that will assist with employee retention and attract top talent. A top-notch candidate should have extensive experience leading rewards, compensation and benefits programs, along with excellent decision-making skills. In this role you report to the Executive VP People & Culture for the Occlutech Group and are a member of the Global People & Culture Team.

More about the Job:
• Evaluating and modifying existing rewards, compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensuring all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation.
• Be main contact towards our third-party services for payroll (BDO or other)
• Be main contact towards our third-party services for pension, insurances etc. to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues.
• Lead annual salary review process across the company
• Supporting the People & Culture team and people managers with recruitment and talent management activities utilizing the newly implemented Mercer matrix for salary bands and ensure annual updates of the matrix as the organization evolves.
• Preparing budgets, reports, and presentations.
• System responsibility for the Occlutech HRIS, SuccessFactors
• Support and backup to local P&C Sweden for providing correct data to Swedish payroll provider
• Backup for providing correct payroll data to markets outside Sweden, Germany, Turkey and the US/Canada (UK, France, Italy, Australia and New Zealand)

Your profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 yrs of experience as a compensation and benefits manager, or a related role.
• Relevant certifications preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll, benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation in multiple countries.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience managing benefits and compensation in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong people and project management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Having worked in an international business environment
• Fluent in English
• Experience from a globalization and transformation journey is a benefit
