High quality and innovative hardware designs are important factors for our continued growth and future success. There are still many challenges ahead of us and we are now looking for Electronics Engineers with a genuine interest in hardware design to strengthen our Electronics team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As part of the Electronics team you will participate in both product development projects targeting our current generation of products as well as study new hardware technologies that will fit into our next generation of products.
Your main tasks will be to:
• Perform feasibility studies of the electronic design
• Evaluate and select suitable components
• Create electronic design schematics
• Support our EMS partners with prototype production
• Perform tests and verifications of the electronic design
• Handle regulatory approvals (EMC and safety)
• Create production documentation
The electronic design will be done in close cooperation with PCB CAD engineers, software engineers and mechanical engineers in order to create an optimal hardware design and high quality products. You will also work together with the Operations department, assisting in production start up and optimization work as well as handle contacts with component distributors, subcontractors and manufacturers. The role covers a broad variety of electronics design challenges and you will be responsible for the electronics design in the project from start to finish.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We expect you to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and a genuine interest in electronic design. We have open positions suitable for persons with various background and experience ranging from a couple of years of experience to senior engineers with 5+ years of experience. Make sure to point out your specific set of skills and preferences in the application. You have previous experience from one or several of the following areas: Power supply design, EMC/ESD, board level design of microprocessor systems, motor control, thermal management, audio, antennas, RF design, schematics capture and audio.
We believe that you are a highly motivated and outgoing person with good communication skills in both English and Swedish. You are also able to work efficiently both individually with limited supervision as well as within a team of other highly skilled engineers.
THE ELECTRONICS TEAM
Together with Firmware and mechanical engineering teams we are responsible for the design and development of Axis camera and accessory products. We also work in close cooperation with units responsible for e.g. regulatory approvals, PCB layout, production, logistics, quality, support and product management.
