As a key member of our Shared Services team within the Operational Accounting Department, you will be responsible for executing accounting related activities in accordance with Local GAAP and IFRS standards. This includes managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash/Bank related transactions, and performing balance sheet reconciliations.
In addition, you will act as a superuser in corresponding SAP processes, Medius and Certify, providing support, troubleshooting and training as needed. You will actively participate in the implementation of new processes, procedures, and tools to drive efficiency and productivity.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an Accountant or similar role, working in an international environment. You will have a good understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles, and be well-versed in bookkeeping practices. You should also be highly proficient in using ERP tools and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Your ability to manage activities in several legal entities and different countries, along with your high command of English language, both orally and in written, will be essential to succeed in this role. Knowledge of other languages such as German, French, or Italian would be an added advantage.
