CAE Engineer

Aurobay is now looking for a CAE Engineer to the team Engine CAE Solids in Gothenburg.

MORE ABOUT THE POSITION

Your overall work tasks as CAE Engineer is to perform advanced technical calculations and analyses using the Finite Element Method (FEM) and Multi Body Dynamic analysis. As principal CAE tools we use ABAQUS, NASTRAN, AVL/EXCITE and SIMCENTER 3D, and the main tool for model creation is ANSA. The work scope covers the complete process including model creation, performing calculations, analysing results, issue recommendations, verbally present findings and issue written reports. You will take active part in development projects as well as method development. Important attributes to analyse are dynamics, vibrations, durability, thermal effects and noise (NVH).

YOUR PROFILE

We believe you have:
• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Applied Mechanics.
• Several years of experience as CAE engineer, at least 3 years.
• Knowledge and experience of structure analysis using a FE-tool such as NASTRAN or ABAQUS.
• Good skills using ANSA for model creation since this is our main tool for that purpose.
• Experience of multi body simulations is an advantage.

The work will be carried out both independently and in teams, and we believe you are a team player. You should have a strong ability to communicate and to convey results in a structured and understandable way. You are fluent in English, spoken and written
